W. "Bill" Cowell, (alias Bilco), Ex-army, Journalist and ex-editor, has travelled and met fanciers world wide in 23 different countries. His writings have been published officially in the "BHW", "Racing Pigeon", "Pigeon Sport", "Pigeon Racing News & Gazette", Pigeon Racing Pictorial, "Winning Magazine", "La Lato Massagero", "The Australian Fancier" etc,  and have been copied - with and without permission - in Swedish, Thai, Japanese, Taiwanese, German, Belgian, French, and other language magazines world wide over the past 40+ years, in addition to short stories published in National newspapers and magazines.  70 years a successful fancier, he prefers to fly in Open and Classic races, rather than in Club programmes because, he says, he has more time to prepare the birds. Fairly fluent in five languages, he also held a Pilot's Licence in the 1950's and spent several years mending bones after trying sailing, scuba-diving, skiing, parachuting, gliding and hang gliding, sports he still loves.  Is currently looking for a new hen before emigrating to France, where he hopes to settle down in the not too distant future.

Latest report. No more applications please! – he’s found his hen. France here they come!

Dennis Wall – born in England in 1929.

Kept racing pigeons since 1946 (60 years).

Over the years has written articles for “The Racing Pigeon” – “PIGEON Sport” – Australian Racing Pigeon Journal” and ‘Winning’ on-line magazine.

Can only speak one language – English (with a Norfolk dialect).

Now only concentrates on channel racing with the BICC and hopefully in the Internationals.

His one aim in life – to move the sport forward – and move with it.
