Records are made to be broken.

During November we had a grand total of 3,632 visitors to the site,
and these visitors spent an average of 9 minutes browsing the contents.
Previous best months had been October 2,408 – July 2,389 – June 2,385
and August 2,093 – whereas at the start of the season we had 1,246 in April
and 1,895 in May. As you can see we are going from strength to strength.
All the smoke signals and the talk on the grapevine indicates that many
more fanciers will be joining the BICC this coming season – it will be
interesting to see if the facts match the promises.

A few thoughts for you to mull over.

1)
You want to send a Christmas card to a BICC member
friend and you can’t lay your hands on their address.
2) Had a pigeon reported by a non fancier in another part
of the country and you would like to contact a BICC member
living in the area to relieve the non  fancier of the responsibility.
3) You’re a fairly new BICC member and you want to find out the marking
stations in your area, and/or to find out the times of marking
and where exactly the marking station is.
4) The winner of the recent BICC race – you would like to contact
him/her to congratulate them on a fine performance.
5) You’re trying to contact a a fancier, you know his name and what part
of the country he lives but not exactly where and you would like to ask a BICC
member in the area for assistance to locate him.
6) You’re going to Blackpool, is there any other BICC members in your area
prepared to share car space or know of anybody else who wants to.

There you have six good reasons for a BICC Members Directory.
No doubt you can think of several more!   Tell us what they are!

Sponsoring the Norfolk & Suffolk members.

Up to now the following have agreed to continue sponsoring prizes for
the 2006 season and we take this opportunity of thanking them publicly.
GEM SupplementsAviform LimitedPLO Software
DAZER UK Ltd. Murray & MillsMeriden Animal Health Ltd.
Others are still considering and we feel sure several more will respond positively.
Their actions ensure that Norfolk & Suffolk members will have something
to win even if well down the section and open positions.

Sun City Million Dollar Pigeon Race

Just to remind you that the BICC President (Mr Brian Long) was the
winner of the SCMDPR sponsored prize, competed for by BICC members
in Norfolk & Suffolk, of a sponsored free entry and two back-up
pigeons (value £660) in the Sun City (SA) one-loft race to be held on
Saturday February 4th 2006 – having taken part in training and
Hot-Spot races during the latter part of 2005.
Progress of his pigeons can be found on page SCMDPR of this
website with Paul Smith’s updates, or on the linked website to SCMDPR.

We wish Brian Long well and look forward in hopeful anticipation
of seeing his name among the eventual prizewinners.
